The Malaysian Space Agency (MYSA) is a fully mandated federal agency under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), responsibles in spearheading the Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) development agenda pertaining to the development and operation of the space sector as outlined in the National Space Policy 2030 (DAN2030).

MYSA is committed to lead Malaysia towards becoming a Space-Faring Nation - in empowering national space capability from space technology users to creators which in return can contribute at least 1% or RM10 billion to Malaysia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP); create up to 5,000 new job opportunities; and rank Malaysia as top three in Southeast Asia’s space technology research and development by the year 2030.

Satellite Open Data Terms and Conditions Malaysian Space Agency (MYSA)

Satellite data under the MYSA Open Data Initiative are satellite raster data received at the MYSA Satellite Data Receiver Station in Temerloh, Pahang or from other external sources. Satellite data distributed under this initiative are unrestricted remote sensing satellite data that has a spatial resolution of more than 5 meters
